Terms of Use
Effective date: July 22, 2026
The short version: TallUp is general fitness software, not medical advice. Subscriptions renew automatically and are managed entirely through your app store account. Be kind to your body and don't misuse the app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using TallUp ("the app") you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old to use TallUp; if you are under 18, review these terms with a parent or guardian.
2. Health disclaimer — not medical advice
TallUp provides general fitness and lifestyle content: guided stretching and posture exercises, sleep and nutrition habit tracking, and statistical adult-height estimates. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Height predictions are population-level statistical estimates only — individual growth varies and no outcome is guaranteed.
- The app supports natural posture and healthy habits; it does not claim to increase your height beyond your genetic potential.
- Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you (or your child) have a medical condition, injury, pain, or growth concerns.
- Stop any exercise that causes pain and seek professional guidance.
3. Your account and data
An account is optional; every feature works without one. If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity under it. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → your account → Delete account) or via the steps at delete-account; deletion permanently erases your account and cloud-stored progress.
4. Subscriptions and purchases (TallUp Premium)
- Billing: TallUp Premium is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly, yearly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the chosen plan.
- Cancellation: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; partial-period refunds are handled under the store's policies.
- Restore: use "Restore purchase" on the Premium screen to re-activate previous purchases on a new device signed into the same store account.
- Price changes: if a subscription price changes, the store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.
- Free trials / offers: if a trial or introductory offer is provided, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, and the subscription renews at the standard price unless cancelled before the trial ends.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or probe its systems;
- reverse engineer the app except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the app's content or workout plans;
- use the app for unlawful purposes, or to harass or harm others;
- misrepresent your age (the app is for users 13 and older).
6. Intellectual property
The TallUp name, logo, exercise content, illustrations, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your own devices for its intended purpose.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that predictions, plans, or tracking data will be accurate or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall TallUp or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including personal injury, lost profits, or lost data — arising from or related to your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, USD $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted.
9. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, announced in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
